Fred French MBE

It saddens me greatly to report the passing of Fred French MBE. We have sadly lost one of the most hard working people I know in angling, Fred French MBE was a stalwart of the London Anglers Association who worked tirelessly for anglers all his life. In his younger days Fred was a great match man who fished many LAA Shield matches. and a great servant of the LAA.and the ACA. Fred passed away peacefully while in his sleep at 5 p.m. today Sunday 16th May 2011 . I will miss him greatly. A true servant to anglers everywhere Martin James
