Big Charity Fund Raising Evening

Don't forget join Martin and friends on November 13th at the Grand in Clitheroe for an evening of fun and music with Phil Cool and O'Connor's Fusiliers where Martin will be your MC, Its all in aid of the Army Benevolent fund and Ribble Valley Crossroad Care. Two charities that Martin supports with fees from his writing and speaking engagements. This charity evening come about when Martin took comedian singer song writer Phil Cool fishing for a week in Berkshire on the River Kennet.



During the week Phil caught some good fish including chub of 5-13-0 6-7-0 and a whopping barbel of 14-15-0. At the end of the trip Phil said "What do I owe you Martin" He said "Just make a donation to one of these charities". After a few minutes Phil said "I will better than that, I will do a free concert" Then Tewitfield lake owner Les Bratsby said "Our band O'Connor's Fusiliers will give an hour". Tickets available from the Grand in Clitheroe at £15-00 doors open at seven pm for a 7-30pm start.
