Fred French MBE

I am sure everyone will join in with me in wishing Freddie French MBE a speedy recovery. He was taken into the Royal Lancaster Infirmary some weeks ago with suspected pneumonia and a blood-clot on one of his lungs,

Just before this happened he underwent by-pass surgery which left him pretty low. He then needed to be taken into the Intensive Care Unit. Early last week they transferred him to the Barrow in Furness Hospital I.C.U.

Having just spoken with the hospital I was told "He is sitting up in a chair and making progress". that's great news, we must never forget that Fred has worked tirelessly for all anglers everywhere over many many years. In my book no one has worked so hard and travelled so many miles working on our behalf. Keep in there fighting Fred French MBE and we are all rooting for you.
