Is This A New River Record Perch?

Some weeks ago Richard Young of Cross Hills West Yorkshire a manager for an independent retailer of carpets and a specialist flooring department sent me an e-mails asking for advice on fishing the River Aire for bream, I suggested he joined the Keighley AC, which he did. I also pointed him to some swims where I have had good bream in the past, suggesting he fish lobworms as bait. After several weeks of trying Richard hit the jackpot when he caught a fine brace of fish. The first fish was a perch of 3-10-0 which I feel is a new river record for this species, and then just on dusk he caught a 5-8-0 bream (See pictures). Tackle for both fish was a Tricast feeder rod, 6lb Maxima main line with Drennan double strength 5lb hook length ledgering a worm on a size 8 hook. Well done Richard
