Hello Martin

Having just read your article about the current state of some of our rivers, I agree with every word of it, and it disappoints me to know that some anglers are determined to fish under any circumstances. If the E A and various clubs do not act then we anglers should police ourselves and not fish on rivers in such poor conditions. Are the fish that we care for not worth it? Are we anglers? Or are we selfish self centred and mindless. I feel sure that if we as anglers fail to look after our fish, then surely we put ourselves in a bad light, not only with the “antis” but the public at large. So come on ladies and gents, give the fish a break during this prolonged dry spell.
