Double Figure Tench For Cotswolds Baits Creations Boss

Phil Chum who has spent some considerable time targeting carp and getting a personal best of 37lb 2ounces, also caught some good tench during his carp fishing trips. Having caught his big carp, Phil decided to target the tench in the hope of catching a 10lb plus fish. Baiting a spot every other day with hemp, sweetcorn, BIOSQUID pellets and Tock Special boilies, he quickly started catching good tench with several 9lb plus fish. Yesterday Phil had another after work session, fishing with scaled down carp tackle with lead clips and 2 ounce weights with a braided hook link. The bait was a 14mm Cotswold Bait Creations Tock Special, Phil also used a pva bag of crushed boilies and biosquid pellets, over a bed of corn, hemp and pellets. An hour into the session Phil hooked and landed his dream tench of 10lbs 2 ounces. Phil Chum is one of the attractions at this years Royal Lancashire Show July 26th 27th and 28th on the banks of the River Ribble just upstream of Ribchester bridge.
