At The Waters Edge programmes with Martin James are broadcast weekly Thursday evenings at 19-30 hrs and Saturday morning at 0600 hrs. The programmes for the Christmas and New Year holiday period are as follows

At The Waters Edge Programme on BBC Radio Lancashire December 23 rd at 7-30 pm Martin is fishing the Lancashire River Calder where he catches a surprise barbel.

At The Waters Edge programme Saturday 25 th December. Its a 1 hour Christmas Day special. Martin meets up with Frank Casson at Barnsfold Reservoir to talk with Frank Casson, Martin then drives across country to meet up with Alan Roe who is grayling fishing on the River Ribble. After lunch he visits Edisford Fishing Syndicate on the River Ribble at Mitton where he meets fishery owner David Jones and river keeper Ivan Duxbury. Then its off to Ribchester to fish Prince Albert AS water on the River Ribble for chub and barbel. During his walk along the river bank he meets Macclesfield soccer coach Mick Holgate. Repeated at 7-0 pm on Thursday 30 th December 2004

On Saturday 1st January 2005 at 0600 hrs Martin presents an hour long New Years day special of At The Waters Edge where he is joined by Mike Osborne of Cumbria.
